Case Study: Inverto‘s OneNet™ MoCA Access Solution at Assisted Living facility in Ohio
Inverto’s OneNet™ MoCA Access solution deployed in an Assisted Living facility in Ohio, delivering high speed internet connectivity over WiFi to 240 residents’ apartments along with enhanced Wi-Fi coverage in public spaces. The OneNet™ MoCA Access solution was selected for its cost-effectiveness, rapid deployment and comprehensive online management system. Its unique advantage lies in leveraging the existing coaxial cable infrastructure, which eliminates the need for new cabling and minimizes disruption to residents.
This broadband solution enables residents to enjoy fast internet access and seamless connectivity to popular video streaming services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, as well as improved EPG. The deployment utilizes fiber cables that connect to the facility, terminating at an Ethernet switch equipped with SFP+ interfaces in each building. At these termination points, a MoCA Access Controller is linked to the switch via an SFP+ Ethernet module. The Controller's MoCA Access output ports connect to the existing coax network, extending coverage to every apartment and public space within the facility. In each apartment, a OneNet™ Coax Network Unit (CNU) connects through the existing coax wall outlet, delivering gigabit-speed connectivity and comprehensive W-iFi coverage. This deployment marks a significant step in improving connectivity for residents, allowing them to stay connected and enjoy digital services in their homes.
