Military

For deployed troops and remote military bases, access to information and entertainment is essential for morale, training, and staying informed. However, internet connectivity may be unreliable, unavailable, or unsecured for certain deployments. The Q-Stream™ DVB-NIP technology, along with our legacy broadcast solutions, Q-Live™ and Q-Fast™, offers a secure and efficient way to distribute critical content without the need for an internet connection.

Using broadcast network as well as high grade encryption, military organizations can deliver a range of materials—including field training videos, documents, news updates, journals, and entertainment content—directly to troops stationed in remote locations, in particular to those deployments where a return channel would be jeopardize the sensitive nature of the operation. Content is received and stored on ruggedized set-top boxes (STBs) or high-performance terminals, which can be networked to allow seamless access across a base or facility.

For added flexibility, these devices can be equipped with Wi-Fi, enabling troops to access content on their personal tablets, smartphones, or computers. This ensures that service members can stay engaged with training programs, remain informed with the latest news from their home country, and access entertainment that supports troop welfare - all in a secure, controlled environment.

The Q-Stream™ solution provides a scalable and highly secure method for military organizations to distribute essential content without dependence on traditional internet infrastructure, ensuring that troops in any location can stay connected to the information they need.
